Mountain biking in the Pyrenees
Pirinexus is a cross-border circular cycle route that connects the territories on both sides of the Eastern Pyrenees, between France and Spain. The main route is 353 km long.
Main starting point: Le Boulou (arrival and departure).
LE BOULOU - CÉRET
› 11.2 km – Paths developed along the banks of the Tech, passing by the lakes of Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts (water sports and picnic areas).
CERET - ARLES-SUR-TECH
› 10.4 km – The route follows the old railway lines and allows you to discover monumental works with superb panoramas of Vallespir and Canigou.
ARLES-SUR-TECH – COL D'ARES (BORDER)
› 32 km – Sporty. On the D115, with a significant elevation gain. The route continues into Spain, then returns to Le Boulou via the Mediterranean by bike in the Spain-France direction.
PANISSARS PASS (FRENCH-SPANISH BORDER) – LE BOULOU
› 13.2 km (difficult to easy).
